Career Profile
I am a scientist at the Biomedical Research Institute ibs.Granada, based at the Andalusian School of Public Health and supported by a “Juan de la Cierva Incorporación” grant from the Spanish Ministry of Science. I am part of the research team of the Cancer Registry of Granada (https://www.registrocancergranada.es) and a research group at the CIBER of Epidemiology and Public health (https://www.ciberesp.es).
My research aims to improve preventive behavior and timely diagnosis of chronic diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disease. I use representative population surveys, communication experiments, and different review methods to identify psychological and social factors that shape health-related decision making and behavior.
